AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils incorporate the highest quality shear-stble, synthetic fluids and are fortified with a premium, zinc-based antiwear hydraulic additive system for maximum protection in low- and high-pressure gear, vane and piston pumps.

AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils typically eliminate deficiencies common to other hydraulic lubricants: specifically, thermal and oxidative degradation (which causes varnish and sludge formation), oil and water emulsions (which can lead to rust and excessive wear), lubricant degradation and weight loss (due to hydrolytic instability or high-temperature vaporization).

The synthetic base fluids ensure problem-free operation with service intervals up to 10 times longer than possible with mineral oil-based lubricants. Studies indicate that synthetic lubricants can reduce energy consumption by as much as 10 percent, while providing clean, problem-free operations, extended oil drain intervals and increased uptime. This performance increases efficiency and savings on energy, repair and maintenance costs.

AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils are the primary recommendation for most high- and low-pressure gear, vane and piston industrial and mobile hydraulic applications. AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils are preferred for severe duty applications and sealed-for-life systems where optimum performance is required. The ability of AMSOIL Synthetic AW Series Antiwear Hydraulic Oils to dramatically extend drain intervals is subject ot operating environments and maintenance practices and should be monitored by oil analysis.

Although AMSOIL lubricants are compatible with mineral oil-based lubricants, for optimum performance it is recommended that the system be thoroughly drained and cleaned, if warranted.

AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil (TBI) is a premium lubricant designed to biodegrade to its natural state when subjected to sunlight, water and microbial activity. Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil has a very low toxicity level because the oil is formulated with ashless additives that do not contain heavy metals.

AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil incorporates very high quality synthetic base oils that provide thermal stability, even though they are biodegradable. This oil also contains anti-wear additives that have been thoroughly tested and qualified against stringent hydraulic oil standards including Denison HFO, HF1, HF2, Vickers M-2950-S, l286-S, and Cincinnati Milacron P-68, P-69, and P-70. AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil provides optimum protection for your hydraulics because it prevents wear of the pump and prevents rust of critical components. AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil contains foam inhibitors that quickly release air from the oil.

AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil outperforms vegetable oil-type, biodegradable hydraulic oils because it is based on high quality synthetic oil chemistry tht lasts longer and withstands heat better. This ensures problem-free operations.

AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil is recommended for gear, vane and piston stationary and mobile hydraulic systems. AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil is a multi-viscosity, SAE 5W-20 oil and is recommended for use in place of either ISO-32 or ISO-46 hydraulic oils.

AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil is essentially compatible with typical hydraulic oils and small amounts of contamination (lines, residue) is acceptable. However, it is recommended that systems be drained prior to installing AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil, Excessive system contamination will minimize its biodegradability effectiveness.

AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil is especially well suited for applications where environmental contamination due to leaking or blown hydraulic lines presents an environmental hazard.

AMSOIL Synthetic Thermally Stable Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil has been tested and found compatible with Nitrile (Buna-N), poly Acrylate, Flourocarbon (Vitron) and Silicone seals which are commonly found in hydraulic systems.
