Gasoline Stabilizer
Prevents Fuel Deterioration
AMSOIL Gasoline Stabilizer keeps fuel from deteriorating during storage. Fuel stored for long periods of time will begin to deteriorate causing varnish and gum in fuel systems and storage tanks. These contaminants can clog injectors, stick floats and simply cause poor engine performance and/or costly engine repair. Gasoline left sitting in mowers, motorcycles, boats, or other equipment started only every couple of weeks will often turn cloudy and will deteriorate in just a short time to the point where the engine will not even start.
AMSOIL Gasoline Stabilizer reduces the oxidation process which prevents fuel from deteriorating during storage. AMSOIL Gasoline Stabilizer allows easier start-ups and is ideal for any two- or four-stroke, gasoline or diesel engine.
Just one ounce of AMSOIL Gasoline Stabilizer mixed well with every 2.5 gallons of fuel, stabilizes gasoline or diesel fuel for storage. Most users will find that running the engine for four to five minutes with treated fuel provides the best results.
