AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke Synthetic Motor Oil

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke Synthetic Motor Oil is specially formulated to provide serious protection and performance in recreational four-stroke engines, including ATV's, snowmobiles and outboard motors. AMSOIL 4-Stroke virtually eliminates wear and keeps heat and emissions to an absolute minimum.

Formulated with broad 0W-40 viscosity range, AMSOIL Formula 3-Stroke delivers unsurpassed protection and performance year round, in both hot and cold temperature extremes. As an SAE 40 weight motor oil, it protects hot operating, hard working four-stroke motors, while its SAe 0W rating provides excellent cold weather starting and quick post-startup lubrication in the coldest temperatures.

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke Synthetic Motor Oil contains a robust dispersant/detergent package ideal for high-stress four-stroke engines. Formula 4-Stroke is formulated for extended drains, maintaining its 0W-40 viscosity grade throughout its service life and providing long-term protection against equipment wear.

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke Synthetic Motor Oil is formulated without friction modifiers, ensuring dependable starting, smooth running, improved fuel efficiency, desirable stall speeds and clutch compatibility.

The high-temperature operation of four-stroke engines often causes conventional four-stroke motor oils to volatize and thicken, contributing to poor oil circulation, reduction in fuel efficiency, excessive emissions and increased wear. The superior volatization and thickening resistance of AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke Synthetic Motor Oil, however, keeps engine wear, oil consumption and emissions to a minimum, while keeping oil circulation efficient and fuel economy high.

High temperature operations also lead to the thermal degradation and oxidation of conventional oils, forming deposits, sludge and varnish. The superior oxidative and thermal stability of AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke Synthetic Motor Oil inhibits the formation of varnish, deposits and sludge so equipment runs clean in the high-stress, high temperature conditions common to four-stroke engines.

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stoke Synthetic Motor Oil provides second-to-none protection and performance in Yahama®, Honda®, Mercury®, Kawasaki®, Arctic Cat®, Polaris®, Nissan® and Bombardier® motors and transmissions specifying 0W-40, 5W-30, 10W-30 and 10W-40 viscosity grades. AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke Synthetic Motor Oil is also safe for use in wet or dry sumps and is recommended for manual or automatic clutches and with clutch plates.

Shock Therapy Suspension Fluids

AMSOIL Shock Therapy Suspension Fluids are recommended for a wide range of temperatures in the suspension systems of racing and recreational use vehicles.

Controlled Dampening and Rebound
AMSOIL Shock Therapy Suspension Fluids are formulated to make suspension systems more predictable. The base stocks of AMSOIL Shock Therapy Suspension Fluids have inherently high viscosity indices that effectively maintain their viscosities, while anti-foam agents reduce aeration and foam.

Reduces Friction and Wear
The constant friction within a shock body decreases suspension performance. AMSOIL Shock Therapy Suspension Fluids contain friction modifiers to reduce the energy loss caused by friction, while anti-wear agents protect suspensions from premature wear.

Recommendations
AMSOIL Shock Therapy Suspension Fluid Light #5 (STL) is recommended for, but not limited to, Showa®, Kayaba®, Bilstein®, RydeFX®, Penske®, WP® forks, RACETECH® (US1) and Custom Axis® suspension systems. Use Shock Therapy Light #5 where less dampening and quicker rebounds are desired. It is also the preferred choice for winter use.

AMSOIL Shock Therapy Suspension Fluid Medium #10 (STM) is recommended for, but not limited to, Ohlin®, FOX®, RACETECH® (US2), Koni®, WP® shocks and Harley-Davidson® forks that recommend type "E" or "B" fork oil. Use Shock Therapy Medium #10 where more dampening control and slower rebounds are desired.

Synthetic Water Resistant Grease

AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Lithium Complex Grease (GWR) is an extreme-pressure, multipurpose grease formulated specially for wet-duty performance. Its water washout and sprayoff resistance are ideal for wheel bearings of vehicles and trailers frequently exposed to water, mud, snow or ice. It is also excellent for use in plants, such as paper mills, in which machinery undergoes frequent or prolonged exposure to water. Its superior wet-duty performance from its peerless cohesiveness and adhesiveness. It holds together when exposed to water and clings tenaciously to metal surfaces when wet. Components remain protected during prolonged exposure to standing water or exposure to pressurized water.

AMSOIL Synthetic Extreme Pressure Chain Case Oil

AMSOIL Synthetic Chain Case Oil is gear lube technology for chain cases. The extreme pressure formulation provides maximum wear protection. and because it's synthetic, it doesn't thicken like petroleum oils. It reduces high viscosity drag and increases power. AMSOIL Synthetic Chain Case Oil repels wear and protects against rust. It is compatible with other chain case oils, and the convenient 12-ounce pour spout bottle provides the correct amount of oil for each chain case application.

Heavy Duty Metal Protector

AMSOIL Heavy Duty Metal Protector is a heavy duty spray lubricant containing special rust and corrosion inhibitors. It penetrates and adheres to metal surfaces, leaving a long lasting wax-like coating. Apply MPHD to trailer frames and hitches, suspension components and any other metal surface that requires a heavy duty lubricant or is exposed to the damaging effects of salt, moisture or chemical corrosion. It coats front suspensions and protects against road salt, and is ideal for protecting skis while in summer storage.

P.I. Performance Improver

AMSOIL P.I. Performance Improver ranks among the most potent gasoline additives available today. As a concentrated detergent, it is outstanding in cleaning combustion chamber deposits, intake valve deposits and port fuel injector deposits. AMSOIL P.I. helps maintain peak engine efficiency, fuel economy, power and drivability in newer low-mileage engines.

A vehicle demonstrates its best efficiency and engine performance when it is new. As the engine ages, its performance suffers from gasoline-generated deposits that form on the fuel injectors, intake valves and combustion chamber. Additives are required to control deposit formation. Today’s fuels, however, lack sufficient treatments of either enough additives or high-quality additives.

Fuel system deposits result in the following:

• Lost fuel economy

• Lost power and poor throttle response

• Failed emission tests

• Poor drivability - surging, hesitation, stalling, rough idle

• Engine knocking (pinging) and rap

• Difficult starts

Series 2000 Octane Boost

AMSOIL Series 2000 Octane Boost improves the performance of all two-cycle and four-cycle gasoline-fueled engines. Just one treatment significantly increases engine response and power.

AMSOIL Octane Boost reduces engine knock, improves ignition and helps fuel burn cleaner. AMSOIL Octane Boost is the recommended octane boost for all high-performance off-road and racing applications. Most users will find one 12-ounce bottle of AMSOIL Octane Boost for 15 gallons of gasoline provides the ideal performance increase.

AMSOIL Octane Boost is also excellent as a lead substitute at the same treat rates in collector automobiles, older off-road equipment and pleasure vehicles.

Gasoline Stabilizer

AMSOIL Gasoline Stabilizer (AST) reduces the oxidation process that occurs when fuel is stored for extended periods, improving performance, extending equipment life and decreasing maintenance expenses.

Gasoline is not formulated for long-term storage and can start to degrade in as little as 60 days, leading to varnish and sludge deposits that clog injectors, fuel lines and carburetors, stick floats and cause poor engine performance, starting problems, increased maintenance expenses and decreased equipment life.

It is difficult to drain all of the fuel from equipment before storage, and doing so would expose the system to other problems, including the formation of rust and corrosion on the bare metal in the tank and fuel system and the drying and cracking of gaskets and seals. Some fuels are pre-treated with oxidation inhibitors that allow them to be stored for short periods without forming excessive deposits, while other fuels have no inhibitors at all.
