    A Matter Of Marketing To The Select Few

    Income OpportunityAMSOIL has been sold through the marketing vehicle of the new millennium -- since 1973. Always ahead of the curve, AMSOIL has utilized the strength and power of Multi-Level Marketing to introduce its wide range of products to the public. This process of marketing gets the products introduced directly to the user, bypassing many middle-men.

    Many times I have been asked why AMSOIL is not available at the local auto-parts store, or the Kmart and WalMarts of the world. It isn't, and for a long time, it probably will not be!

    Some locally owned parts stores, hardware stores and other outlets, operated by independent thinking entrepreneurs see the writing on the walls. They are jumping at the chance to offer a premium line of products like AMSOIL for their premium minded customers.

    The chain parts stores and quick change oil franchises are, however, holding on to the past. They feel that the public at large will only purchase based on the lowest price. They refuse to give the customers the facts, instead concentrating on "selling the sizzle", instead of acknowledging that there is a "better steak".

    Technologically speaking, all oil produced today is far advanced when compared to oil produced just ten years ago. Even the 100% Synthetics sold by the leading oil companies (which often are not truly 100% synthetic), and the blended synthetics are of a quality just meeting manufacturers latest standards and are manufactured to be sold based on price. Instead of being progressive, these chain auto parts stores and quick change lube franchises hang onto the past and go against car and truck manufacturer's lead to extending oil change intervals. Instead of being leaders, they advertise that you should change your oil more -- so they can sell more.

    Retal Sales of AMSOILLike Al Amatuzio, the President and CEO of AMSOIL, Inc., if I owned a service station or quick oil change franchise today, I would offer AMSOIL and promote to the customer the cost savings of using a premium oil that provides service for 25,000 miles (or more) or one year, and synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid that lasts three times what petroleum transmission fluid will last. The truth is that while saving the customer time and money, the forward thinking entrepreneur will see that they can make more money on one oil change with AMSOIL than they can on three or four changes using the other brands. And by offering a transmission change that would almost last for the remaining life of the car people will come to you instead of the others that just want you to come back for more, and more, and more.

    The value in AMSOIL being marketed through Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) becomes very evident when the individual recognizes that he/she can make a good full or part time living introducing the products to those individuals that already know that quality is better than quantity. There are many among us that know of quality minded establishments that service vehicles (potential retail accounts) or use a substantial amount of lubricants in their business (potential commercial accounts). By introducing AMSOIL to them, they will see the benefits and the potential. And those that also recruit and train others that can repeat the process (other dealers), and, in turn, encourage the recruiting and training of other dealers are the ones that will have the world by the tail in the future,

    The process of growing your AMSOIL business is as simple as the difference in addition and multiplication. A conventional business that has $100,000 in sales with five salesman simply adds five salesman to get to $200,000 in sales. But with MLM an individual that is able to put in just 10 hours per week can recruit others to sell for ten hours per week each. All of a sudden, for no more additional time invested, you can be earning commissions from thirty, fifty or a hundred hours of effort per week, without ever investing more than that original 10 hours per week. Two dealers equals twenty hours, four dealers equal 40 hours, etc.

    AMSOIL has grown dramatically through this word-of-mouth advertising. Their products are not marketed to the masses, and is not right for everybody. Why spend good money to advertise on television or newspapers trying to appeal to everybody when it is obvious that some people, no matter how hard you try, will just never want to take care of their car to the extent that AMSOIL will. If your car leaks, has really high miles, is due to be replaced in the next 6 months, or might not even make it 6 months, AMSOIL is not for you. That statement probably covers 50% of the cars out there.

    But if you maintain your car or truck like you intend on keeping it for a while, are conscience of the ongoing costs of operating a vehicle, or if you depend on your car or truck to make a living and you just can not risk the out-of-pocket cost of repairs, not to mention the down-time of break downs, then AMSOIL is the type of premium product that you should be using, and selling.
