Heat kills automatic transmissions. In fact, for every 20 deg. F temperatures increase above 175 deg F, transmission life is cut in half. Transmission life expectancy is directly related to how well the transmission fluid is able to disperse heat and withstand high temperatures. Conventional petroleum fluids are quicker to fail at elevated temperatures, even as low as 200 deg. F.

Dual Gard Bypass Filter

Wear tests have shown particles of contamination in oil in the sub-20 micron range are most harmful to rings and bearings. Most trucks are sold with a full-flow oil filter as their only oil cleansing unit. A study by the Milwaukee School of Engineering determined the filtering efficiency of four top-selling full-flow filters compared with the BE-90 AMSOIL Spin-On Bypass Filter. The By-Pass filter showed a 97.6% efficiency in removing particles as small as 3 microns, a feat no full flow filter can match.

There are nearly seven million registered motorcycles in the United States, with annual sales in excess of one million units. This trend is unlikely to change. As with any vehicle equipped with an internal combustion engine, proper lubrication is essential to insure performance and longevity. It is important to point out that not all internal combustion engines are similarly designed or exposed to the same types of operation. These variations in design and operation place different demands on engine oils. Specifically, the demands placed on motorcycle engine oils are more severe than those placed on automotive engine oils. Therefore, the performance requirements of motorcycle oils are more demanding as well.

Though the degree may be debatable, few will disagree that a difference exists between automotive and motorcycle applications. In which area these differences are and to what degree they alter lubrication requirements are not clear to most motorcycle operators. Establish a Commercial Account for your business. Print this application form and complete the top section, which is basic name, billing and shipping addresses, and contact information. The middle section is a non-resale agreement that must be signed. If you wish, you can also provide a sales tax exemption certificate number (attach local exemption certificate). Sign at the bottom and mail to the address on the upper left corner of the form. Account approval takes only several days and purchases can be made with credit card or COD.

Establish a Retail On-the-Shelf Account for your retail business. Print this application form and complete the top section, which is basic name, billing and shipping addresses, and contact information. The lower section is for sales tax exemption certificate information. Sign at the bottom and mail to the address on the upper left corner of the form. Account approval takes only several days and purchases can be made with credit card or COD. Note that only storefront retail outlets qualify as an AMSOIL Retail Account. Provide a business card or copy of your Yellow Pages Ad to demonstrate that your business qualifies. If you have a home based business, consider become and AMSOIL Dealer instead.

Complete this form and send to the AMSOIL address on the form. Only three current trade references are required. Financial Statements are needed only if you do not have the three trade references. Approval can take 30 days or longer depending on the response from trade references. Do include fax numbers to speed processing.
