My son races motorcycles every weekend and I am searching for a high quality premix oil. What would you recommend.

AMSOIL's 100:1 2-cycle oil works excellent in pre-mix motorcycle engines. If the engine is extensively modified, you might want to experiment with a slightly richer mixture, but don't go richer than 80:1 or it may gum up the works. Most people are surprised with the 100:1 ratio, but if you read my newsletter article, you will understand why it is possible with our synthetic 2-cycle oil. It is virtually smokeless and will give you a noticeable improvement in performance.

I have several customers who run modified outboard motor boat engines, and they prefer to use our 2-cycle injector oil, but run it as a pre-mix. As injector systems are pre-set, our 2-cycle injector oil would be used at the manufacturer's recommended mix ratio as a pre-mix. You would see the same increase in performance and near smokeless performance.

Most people comment on the great reduction in fouled plugs and higher idleing speed they experience when they first switch. The synthetic 2-cycle oil also often allows faster reving.
